To date, this (2023/24) season, Everton have faced two independent Commissions brought about by two breaches of the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability rules. As a result of the first Commission’s decision, Everton appealed the first sanction of ten points. Everton will subsequently appeal the second sanction of two points.
