Good to listen and some really important issues touched on. My stance is that I’m comfortable with wherever we finish this season as long as it’s above the bottom three. Our last few seasons have been so tumultuous, we need a solid season to build our future. I’d obviously prefer a high placing but I’m also sure that next season and beyond will be the times when we progress to where we need to be. Get this season done, deadwood gone, youngsters coming through and possibly a younger manager after Moyes moves upstairs or to Celtic.
Unfortunately for Keane the law is clear and refs have been told to clamp down on hair pulling. The fact that this ref is young and new to the prem meant if anything he was going to apply the laws to the letter – it’s really not his fault. The performance, as with the one against Brentford was awful. Why did Moyes change the set up mat the back from Forest?
Certainly wouldn’t advocate for Moyes to be sacked but I would like to think we are looking to replace him in the summer.

I’ve seen all the minutes Beto and Barry have played, home, away and pre season and both of them are way off PL standard. Barry is supposed to be a ‘project’ (whatever that means) but his awareness and hold up play is abysmal.
What really summed both of them up (apart from their abysmal penalties) was their reaction to Aznou’s brilliant low cross into the penalty area. All it needed was a touch and it was a certain goal but they both just stood there and watched it.
I agree that our set piece play, at both ends, is terrible and I sometimes wonder what goes on at Finch Farm!
