A very enjoyable listen. One memory sticks with me about Saturday. Late in the second half, Chelsea had possession just outside their box, and McNeil was facing them 20 yards away. Earlier in the season he would have stood watching, just like I was sitting watching. But not on Saturday. He tore at the ball, like a Jack Russell trying to catch a tennis ball. And the crowd rose in unison to applaud his effort. It MUST have given him a huge lift. This is how he can earn a new lease of life at Everton. Will he sustain it?
