After far too long a break (for us) hopefully for you too, Talking the Blues is back with an end of season finale, we look back (sort of) on the games we have missed then go on a bit of a season-long ramble all be it strong words towards the end. One could say we had our flip-flops on.
The Talking the Blues Podcast is available, free of charge and advertising on all major podcast platforms, links to which can be found here
As ever thanks for listening – or reading, the transcript will be released tomorrow.
Thank you for all your support throughout the season. Muchas Gracias!

Thank goodness you’re back ! I looked every day for your talking the blues email for the past three games only to be disappointed.
I thought you must have all been knobbled by the premier league for criticising their total incompetence! Or, Mr Moshiri had sent the heavies round !
Anyway, great to hear from you all at last.
I must endorse all the points made about the cheating that has become “acceptable” which just reflects the lack of ability of the present crop of referees. Don’t get me started in the ball being out of the quadrant when taking corners – ludicrous. When did this come in ? It’s cheating again !
As for VAR – wonderful for goal line decisions but otherwise it has become an “ego trip” for the scrutinising panel members who can influence, not only the relevant game but also critical league positions. Needs a complete re-think and testing or scrapping.
I look forward to the summer podcasts but am greatly concerned about the players we shall probably loose through no fault of their own.
Thank you Mr Dyche, the team and perhaps, most of all the FANS who brought this team through a unique season. COYB’s
Finally, thank you Paul, George and Andy, keep up the good work.

Hi fellas, here’s my summary. We were much further away from relegation than our own vulnerability took us. It was neither the players, the football, tactics or coaching that led to that. It was the unprecedented approach taken by the PL to how clubs are best sanctioned and deemed to have a “sporting advantage”.
Without it, we would have been very comfortable all season. With it, we were bound to be left feeling at risk because of our previous two seasons.
Well done to all for a great podcast season. 👏👏👏
PS
Q. If Podcasts had a transfer market – how much would you get for George? 🤣😂🤣
Regards
