Totally agree re Dixon. When Henderson subsequently played v Albania and made a tackle which was thankfully clean or he’d have seen a red card. Specifically, Dixon praised Henderson for doing exactly what he criticises Pickford for. Dixon needs to look at the stats and not be led by his prejudices. He suffers from a version of Trump Derangement Syndrome….PDS….Pickford Derangement Syndrome.
Here’s a suggestion;
Head injury should require player to be removed from pitch for a full 5 minute assessment. This would result in less time wasting whilst also protecting the player.
Always love to listen to the podcasts. My take today is about the end bit – transport to from the ground and North Liverpool Regeneration.
The award of a number of European Competition games to The Hill Dickinson Stadium in a few years means the problems getting to and from the new stadium must be addressed smartly. ( shame “the other place” has a pitch which is too small – 😢)

All I want to see and hear is that SOMETHING IS BEING DONE AND QUICKLY.
Following my wonderful final visit to GOODISON for that tour we booked THE BIG ONE .
I (85 yrs young) and my wife ( 80+) were privileged to be able to do a Hill Dickinson Stadium tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience ( even though she supporters Sunderland ) BUT we were appalled at the “facilities” at Sandhills Station as we came in from Birkdale , where we were staying. Lovely train, comfortable, no problem but getting to the Stadium, and having to cross a busy main road en route, for us a 25 minute walk, we wouldn’t fancy that on a match, there and back. We would probably go through to the City and get a Matchday bus – if they were frequent enough – I don’t do “ pushing and shoving “ any more !
COME ON LIVERPOOL – my birth, as an EVERTONIAN, city – GET YOUR FINGER OUT.
