  1. The only “ good” I have seen this week at Everton Football Club is watching Tyler Dibling become a proper player, at last.
He worked his socks off against Wolves and his tenacious tackling showed we have found a player similar to Ndiaye. Improvement crossing the ball could see a finished player.

As for the rest of this week’s PodCast – I agree with every word.
The Friedkins can’t wait to see the back of Everton and Everton can’t wait to see the back of them ! Thank you for sorting out the finances ( but you had seen the potential for a juicy PROFIT when you looked at a distressed assist, with a New Bigger Stadium.)
So take your Profit and GO !

I trust that Paul has sent a copy of his musings, via email, to Mr Friedkin. ?

  2. I totally agree with your thoughts, comments and beliefs about the lack of entertainment and total drivel being served up. I watch Everton now, only out of some misguided loyalty. My father took me to my first game when I was four years old (ironically against spurs). I became a season ticket holder in my twenties, as soon as I could afford one. I gave up my season ticket when we appointed Allardyce as manager. I have never seen a team give the ball away as much as Everton. Not just this season, but for years now. Yes, we have the talent to play more entertaining and expansive football. Keep it on the carpet and actually PASS the ball, instead of lumping it forward, only to see it come straight back.

David Moyes has played this style of negative, boring, keep what you have football most of his managerial career. He will never change.

My granddaughter plays rugby league. I get far more enjoyment from watching her and her team play honest, attractive sport with passion, desire and commitment. This has made me watch the rugby super league far more often. If you watch this sport, you will get at least 8 out of 10 entertaining games. In the so call “Premier league ” you would be lucky to see two. Probably not even that watching Everton.

We do not play FOOTBALL as the vast majority of us know it. Please stop defending David Moyes negative tactics.

When it comes to the ownership, it appears that we have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. The Friedkins are typical hard nosed American businessmen. ThDan Friedkin has more money than he can spend in a hundred lifetimes, yet he wants more and more, and buying Everton was a simple profit making exercise. Unfortunately in this GREEDY self-serving world, this is the reality 😕

  3. Thnks Paul

I have just watched David Moyes press conference for tomorrow’s game against Ioswich. He says he would have loved to have turned draws against Man U and Spurs. So why didn’t he instruct the team to play more expansive football and actually try to win games. Does he think the fan base are happy with his dour, cautious brand of non-football!
