Talking the Blues Podcast – pre-Derby catch up

Welcome to this week’s Talking the Blues Podcast with George and Andy Costigan. With Everton not playing for the second successive weekend we have a quick look at the lead up to the Derby next week before a more general chat about the new stadium and the importance of infrastructure and regeneration in North Liverpool.

As usual a mix of serious stuff with a bit of humour thrown in.

The Talking the Blues Podcast is available, as always, free of charge and advertising on all major podcast platforms, links to which can be found here.

  1. Hi Paul,
a good edition again , however like many commentators when talking about Bramley Moor issues you avoided talking about anywhere else other than Bootle and the North of the city.
Not a mention of the South and East of the City that had real issues at the test event. Going to the game, Mersey rail Trains had only 4 carriages and were absolutely packed well before the city centre and serious issues of overcrowding at stations including Sandhills on arrival. Rotheram had the temerity to say that the numbers travelling from those areas where a surprise and they were only just getting figures together as to where Everton fans lived !!!!! . Also very unfair on Radio Merseyside who have had Rotheram on and commented on several talk shows , not least a grilling from Everton fan Tony Snell, who did a good job of holding the current excuse of a Mayor to task.
